Tomorrow I am Gonna Be A Certified Nikon D60 Owner

  By pinoypalaboy | October 6, 2008

Well, this is a very very good news for me. Tomorrow I am gonna receive my own set of DLSR camera. Particularly a D60.

Thanks to a friend’s help, I am gonna enjoy using the camera earlier than I expected. I thought that December is gonna be my deal but luckily things turned up into my favor.

So, gonna keep you posted later on.

Ciao!

    Hi sherwin!

Last time we went to Hidalgo, I think 2 weeks ago, the d40 was priced at 21k brand new.

now about the part between d40 and d60. here are the reason why I chose the d60.

    1. its 10mp(d60) vs 6mp(d40) although this doesn’t matter if you are not into publishing/printing at least you have bigger photos in case you need them

    2. the kitlens of d60 has vibration reduction which really helps a lot in getting sharper photos. Imagine this, as if you are shooting 2 -3 steps higher shutter speed than what is set.

    3. the eye sensor of d60 is really a nice addition since the display on the LCD screen goes off everytime you look into the viewfinder

    4. d60 also has the image sensor cleaning capability. some say that this ain’t useful but would you put believe that?

    5. d60′s noise reduction system is very handy for night shots

    6. d60′s dynamic lighting is saves details that would have been lost on d40

    7. just add 5,000 pesos and you will get a d60

well this is what I remembered so far.

anyway, i’ll make a post about this so everybody could read

    hope it helps!!!

    ciao!

hi. you’ve got an interesting and informative blog here. i’m thinking of buying a nikon d40 and i was wondering if you still know how much it costs at hidalgo? and you mentioned that you initially wanted a d40 but eventually bought a d60. what made you change your mind? i also noticed that you read ken rockwell’s site. i also read the part where he recommended a d40 and just buy good lenses. i think that makes sense. so really curious why you bought the d60 instead. and any plans of upgrading to d90? based on ken rockwell’s site, next best thing after the d40 if budget is not a constraint would be a d90.
