SYM Bike Radical Owners Society Inc. (SYMBROS) Tagaytay Valentine Ride 2009
I received a message (about a week before February 14) from a friend who is a member and moderator of the group SYM Bike Radical Owners SOciety Inc. a.k.a SYMBROS inviting me to join there Valentine ride set for Tagaytay. I happily agreed to join them thinking that my schedule for Valentines day are all set at evening.
The main purpose of the ride was to call on the old members, pioneers as some may say of the group. Anyway, SYMBROS has many members now, and I used to be an active member but due to some priorities in both work and family, I needed to lay-low a little.
This is my ride
SYMBROS consist mostly of San Yang Motors Bike Owners. SYM as most of you might recall have been very popular in the Philippines due to their JET scooters. Now SYM motors have a much larger line of motorcycle products.

Moving on…
Our venue for departure was at SHELL gas station along C5. We should meet by 5:30am and depart as soon as possible to meet another member ‘Lee’ who was gonna be our spearhead. So we went to Alabang to meet with him.
I am really not very good at remembering names of roads and some places. For now I just know that we took the route from c5 to the service road at Bicutan before reaching Alabang, then Cavite, and before I knew it, we where on the road straight up to Tagaytay and I think that was McArthur highway.
Anyhow, we reach Tagaytay at around 7:30am. Then the group decided to go straight at Mahogany market to have a taste of that famous Bulalo. haha
Mahogany public market sign. Just across the dining area
Just another sign to help you know the place
When you see this kind of place, then definitely you are already at the MAHOGANY market harhar.
Be ready as well, because you are gonna be offered to try and buy “ESPASOL”. its like rice cake rolled in a powder which I really can not distinguish. Its a typical “pinoy pasalubong” when visiting tourist spots.
Hmm.. yummy. I ate it without rice. DIET!
The bulalo was priced at 300 pesos each. They say a bowl is good for 2 persons. But I just think that 3 persons can enjoy it though.

After eating we decided to go to Picnic Grove but decided to change destination when we saw the how the cars are lined-up at the entrance and how huge the crowd was at that time. So we ended up going to People’s Park and stayed on the souvenir area for a while.
This was taken at the area just before reaching People’s Park. They have so many souvenirs which i believe some of them I saw at 168 shop at divisoria. hehe
They are all smiles to incoming customers. CHeers!
You can buy fruits here to take home or eat while trekking People’s Park

Then after all that, we all went home since we have schedules to follow.

Just wanna say Thanks to all the SYMBROS members who went on the ride that day. I really enjoyed every moment of it! Till the next one!

P.S.
I really love how Llama mounted his camera on the mirrors of his joyride. hehe
I also love the VESPA
When I got home, I saw the usual scene, we got a lot of riders parked at the front of our house waiting to have their lights turned to LEDS by shinta circuits.
