Goldilocks Decorate Your Cake (DYC) Experience

Have you ever wanted to bake a cake of your own but do not know how. Of course, not every body has the equipment to do baking like the ones we always see. Like for example, those that we see on the bake shop and TV cooking shows. But Goldilocks, one of the popular bakeshops here in the Philippines offers a very simple way for everyone to enjoy the experience of making their own cakes through their “Decorate Your Cake” (DYC) section.

When you happen to pass by Goldilocks at SM San Lazaro, you would see a very familiar sight of children, couples, students, parents huddling around on their individual works of art.

Making your own cake costs 50 pesos. Upon paying you will receive one “Cup Cake” or “Mamon” which is about the size of your hand, some white filling (which will serve as base color and for shaping the cake and a pack of colored filling which you could use to decorate the cake. Additional “fillings” (i really do not know what they are called) cost 10 pesos if I remembered it right.

Having those three ingredients, you can now start the fun!

Just put the white base around the “Mamon” and decorate t all you want!

Then after everything is done, you can place the “flower icing” and place it in the box which is included in the 50 pesos.
