Pinoy Toppings surely made an impression on me yesterday when I tried one of them “PROMO” meals. I think this will be my first post about a food outlet that is commonly found in Food Courts. Curious about the title? Is it a bit exaggerated? then kindly read on.
Why did I called it WTF?
I am a big guy with a big appetite. And in most cases, the size of the food servings in food court outlets are a bit less than what we expect especially when there are only pictures to base your order and of course when you consider the PRICE versus QUANTITY versus QUALITY factor. Anyway, for 130 pesos (85 pesos on non promo meals), you’d might surrender with the amount of food Pinoy Toppings will give you.Plus the taste seems competitive enough.
here is what we ordered.
This is kind of a mix between TAPSILOG and BURSILOG. A big burger patty with a hefty amount of Beef Tapa plus egg. And underneath is rice that for me seems to be around 2 and a half servings.
This is what I ordered. Burger Patty with Grilled (inihaw) Liempo with egg and of course the same big serving of fried rice.
I normally do not have trouble finishing a meal that big. My stomached surrendered early but my mind kept on saying don’t leave leftovers. So in the end I managed to clean my plate while the one I am with left 3/4 of the meal un-eaten.
Anyway, just sharing. I think I will be doing more of these food court review in the future because I have a lot to recommend.
