Ristras Mexican Grill | San Juan Branch | Famous Burrito
It has been quite a while since I last made a blog post here so let me start rekindling the foodie in me by posting about my first time to actually eat a nicely done BURRITO! Just today at lunch time, the boss, officemates and I went to this place called Ristras Mexican Grill located at Jose Abad Santos corner Lopez Jaena at San Juan. Our mission was to taste their famous BURRITO that one of my officemate proudly tells us to eat. And you know what? He was right, they do deserve to be praised for the kind of Burrito they make. But don’t be mistaken, they do have a lot of Mexican food to offer, it is just that the Burrito is the highlight of my post haha!

picture is not mine (I forgot to take a photo this logo)

Food price (a burrito to be exact) starts at around 340 pesos which is actually good for 2 persons since most of us had to share one Burrito. Or if you are really hungry then you can try their GODZILLA BURRITO which weighs a hefty 2.5 kilos (which by the way is included in the MAN versus Burrito Challenge wherein you need to finish the GB in less than 90 minutes)
Modes of Payment: Cash and Card

A ristra is an arrangement of drying chili pepper pods. Although their main purpose is to preserve chilis for later consumption, ristras are commonly used decoratively in chili-producing areas, especially New Mexico.
Garlic can also be arranged into a ristra for drying and curing after the bulbs have matured and the leaves have died away.

What the place looks like from inside?
The place is a bit small, I think it is enough to hold about 20-25 people. More than that then you will probably have seating problems.
they have some clothes hanging on the wall

some ristras and photos as decoration (btw, I love the wall construction)

my first time to see this design on lights

chairs and tables

they serve softdrinks, beer (local and foreign) and they have their own brand of water.

everything you need to ask and look for is on this counter area

you can even watch while your food is being prepared

The final product!
Wet Chicken Burrito (you add 90 pesos when you want your Burrito WET! *smirk*)

Steak Burrito (split into two)

more! moar! yum yum!

of course, Nachos with Guacamole dip

They do carry some cakes
