what flash and diffuser are you using? I'm kinda torn also between a nissin di622 and an sb600. some say that the nissin is under exposed and kinda warm in tone. what say you?

i am using a nissin di622 on those shots...

but I have sold the nissin recently and planning to get a s800 instead...

nissin seems to be ok with me. I sold it only because of that remote trigger issue.

I only got a 60mm at the moment because I sold my 18-55 lense along with my d60 body prior to d90 upgrading (then sold my 55-200 after a week). Anyway, just give me a question or something I'd happily respond. Hehe

I consider myself a newbie as well... I joined a photography club recently and they advised that I go get myself enrolled in a "basic photography class". There a lot of these seminars/classes

Join a forum like "phipo" (just google phipo) or dpreview. whichever suits you.
